  5. Each edition of MicroData Infodisk will now include three new features:

  7.      * Highlights -- a summary of selected new and updated reports
  8.  
  9.      * Perspectives -- feature articles from Faulkner's subscriber     
  10.        newsletter. Our first Perspectives articles cover network       
  11.        servers and advice on buying used computers  
  12.  
  13.      * OLDNEWS -- news abstracts from previous issues of MicroData.
  14.  
  15. Highlights 
  16.  
  17. To get a brief summary of new and updated coverage, type HIGHLIGHTS
  18. after selecting KEYWORDS at the F3 window.
  19.  
  20. Perspectives
  21.  
  22. For a list of feature articles from Perspectives written by Faulkner's
  23. senior editorial staff, type PERSPECTIVES after selecting KEYWORDS at
  24. the F3 window.
  25.  
  26. OLDNEWS
  27.  
  28. Each new MicroData Infodisk contains the most recent news abstracts
  29. along with full reports, charts, and summaries. However, news abstracts
  30. from earlier MicroData editions are still available to you. To access
  31. the OLDNEWS data base:
  32.      Press F5
  33.      Move your cursor to the option, Select New Data. Press ENTER.
  34.      The screen displays two choices, INFO and OLDNEWS.  
  35.      Move the  cursor to OLDNEWS and press ENTER.  (INFO is the  
  36.      current MicroData Infodisk data base.)

  38. Everything in the program -- searching, retrieving, saving -- works
  39. exactly the same. 
  40.  
  41. When you are ready to return to the current MicroData file, repeat    
  42. the process from F5, but this time select INFO.
  43.  
  44. This enhancement is the result of subscriber feedback -- our customers
  45. telling us what they wanted.  We think it's a great idea. Keeping a
  46. separate data base on the same Infodisk conserves work space and
  47. optimizes response times, while giving you easy access to news
  48. abstracts from prior issues of MicroData Infodisk.
